Angel Food Ministries
Grace Baptist Church, Oak City Baptist, Hamilton Baptist

Angel Food ministries provides grocery to relief to communities and shares the good news of the gospel of Jesus CHrist through salvation tracts that are placed in each box of food.

Angel Food's groceries are sold by the box at $30.00 per unit. Each month's menu consists of both fresh and fozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60.00. One box of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week, or a single senior citizen for almost a month. Operation Reach
North Carolina Baptist State Convention

Atlantic Association - September 21 & 22

This is one of the most effective tools in identifying unreached people groups in an association where new churches are needed. This event guides associational pastors and leaders through a day of learning and identifying opportunities for new churches. Participants learn about people groups and how to identify them, and travel in groups to pre-assigned areas to identify unreached groups distinct from people groups other community churches are already reaching. Groups return to the host site to report their discoveries to the larger group.

These events are provided at no financial cost to the association, but by funds from the Cooperative Program, Annie Armstrong Offering and the North Carolina Missions Offering. Every church represented at the event is provided with a detailed demographic report on their church. Operation Reach requires a six-month planning process and commitment from the associational missionary to personally enlist the participation of pastors and one staff member/layman from each church.

Post Your Event

If your church or association is having outreach or missions events between now and this fall, why not let us know so we can post it on the Web site! Seeing what other Baptists are doing to reach out to their neighbors will help encourage all of us. Maybe we'll be amazed at what others are doing!

Send date, time and description of event to ncmo@ncbaptist.org
